Bussey is all about the money, not the safety of a child. He has given custody to the abusive parent because they are paying him. He should be sued! more

I highly and strongly recommend staying as far away from Dr. Adam and his associates as you possibly can! He does not listen to the facts regarding child abuse and neglect. He has no regard for what is in the best interest of children. It seems he literally only cares about money! He has no integrity! He refused to let me talk several times during our joint meetings. He then threatened me at the end of our meetings after he offered his recommendation stating ""if you refuse to accept my recommendation of 50/50 custody, I will go to court and recommend that dad get full custody"" I was in shock, and asked him how he could say that, and told him that everything I had ever told him was the truth about the abuse both our daughter and I had endured and how could he possibly put her in harms way and that my ex needed help so that he could possibly be a good father to our daughter and that I was a good mother...and he stated ""I think that you're a wonderful mother that has nothing to do with it"" then he stated ""do you want to know the reason?"" I said yes please! Then he stated ""nevermind our session is over. "" I interviewed several attorney's afterward who all stated that Dr. Adam is not a good man and that he has been able to get away with this and has for a long time because of who he knows within the court system. And that I wasn't alone, stating that ""Dr. Adam has zero integrity that he threatens his clients to get his recommendation into court without having to go to court. Our daughter suffered greatly because of Dr. Adam and consequently we were involved with a domestic violence custody battle following our experince with Dr. Adam, because Dr. Adam did nothing to protect her! A witness saw my ex physically abusing both myself and our daughter and called the police. During this investigation our daughter also returned home with bruises on her arms at the hand of her father! The emotional, verbal and physical abuse our daughter endured could have beeen prevented if Dr. Adam cared at all about children. And recommended help for abusive men. Pros: none! unless ur paying his bill, and even then be careful! Cons: too many to mention!! more

I felt I needed to give equal time and attempt some objectivity here. How can anyone rate a custody evaluator? There are no winners. Anyone that resembles a loser walks away furious and voicetrous, writing bad stuff, while anyone that resembles a winner goes away quietly with a bittersweet impression. I guess I resemble a winner, having a 730 done a few years ago that cut straght to the chase, and removed false allegations made against me of child abuse (what is ""state proven"" abuse anyway?), and other bogus claims in the first 15 mins. Of course it went on for 6 months afterward anyway. Pros: Great, if your in the right, and your honest. Cons: Lousy, if you're lying about your ex, or to yourself. more

We had the same experience only much worse. The family court experts refer to him as G-d, no kidding. He is anything but. Told many times over again that child would be placed in a bad living situation. Found a civil suit regarding him and another case. Will be seeking out that attorney. Your right about Busie (sp?), I caught him rolling his eyes during an evaluation. Tell your family law attorney you don't want this office handling your case. Cons: has a license to put kids in bad places more

We dealt with Dr. Duke Bussey for a 740 evaluation. I found him biased and a poor interpreter of data. Not recomended. Staff was equally pretentious and seemed to think it was your honor to be judged by them. Pros: Zero!!! Cons: STAFF IS EQUALLY PRETENTIOUS more
