Soapy's Car Wash is a self-service car wash on the east side of Escondido. The have a number of coin operated self-service stalls where you have to get out and scrub your car yourself. They offer vacuums and a covered area where you can dry your car after you are done washing it. They also have one of the newer type car washes where you drive into it and the machine moves back and forth spraying water and soap over your car then at the end you drive out through a blow dryer. I like the convenience of not having to get out and prefer the drive through over the do it your self scrub. The have change machines too in case you need it and the drive through car wash does accept credit and debt cards in addition to cash.
