Briefly, we had a sick kitty who messed up our beautiful Karastan rug. We gave it to another company who actually made the problem worse??!! Melrose patiently stuck with us. They cleaned the carpet COMPLETELY...NO MORE pet odor from poor, sick kitty! Plus, the owner said, "Live with the carpet for 2 weeks to be sure you are completely happy with the result, then pay us if you are happy." Well, who knew we would have the hottest, muggiest weather of the summer, and the carpet remains perfect. Thank you so much, Dave and Melrose. You are great. more

Good owner 12/27/2012

Took 2 (non-oriental) rugs there to be cleaned and was not happy with the result. I called and got the owner of the business. He came back to my house and picked them up again. Both rugs had some stains, so he had to put them through 2 more rounds of cleaning, and did it without charging me more. The results were good. I was happy with his service more

nice inventory 8/16/2005

this oriental rug store is very impressive. In such a small store, they carry a large inventory for people to browse through. The Melrose Oriental Rug Co is located on Main Street in downtown Melrose, which is more than convenient and has off street parking, which is second to perfect. The prices are not too appealing, but what would you expect from a local store. more
