Scrap-N-Time

I visit this shop frequently because of its large selection and free to use crop room. As of the first of Feburary it seems the business when under new management and many more papers as well as stickers and other embelishments have been added to the shop. The new owner is very friendly and the store is mainly family ran now so you can be requests for products will get back to the manager. They are very helpful with people new to scrapbooking and will take their time to assist a customer in finding a product in the store or even making a gift card. Last time I was there they where adding merchandise to a computer database so there may be some slow down at the register as I am not sure if they got everything in or not yet. They do not carry any 8.5x11 papers and very very few 8x8 (hardly any are printed most are just cardstock) but their 12x12 cardstock selection is improved and now carries a variaty of color no just tans and greys (yes they even have the hard to find black cardstock we all seem to love). The work area also doubles as a sale area with papers 50-75% off and other merchandise including a few damaged stickers (often sheets that are just missing one or two stickers). more

I have a friend that lives in Cottonwood, so when I go to visit from the San Luis Obispo area....this store seems large to me. We dont have much at all down here, and Scrap-n-time always seems to have what my stores dont carry. I can never leave there without a basket full. They also have a large crop area, that I believe is free to use at any time. more

They have alot of embelishments to choose from, but not alot of paper. The cardstock is very slim. The prices seem to be competitive. They do have a crop area and an area for kids to play or watch a movie while you shop. They ahve a good selection of albums as well. more

This is one of the only stores specializing in scrapbooking products. They don’t have everything I’m looking for, but they do have a big selection of 12x12 open stock paper. Unfortunately they carry no 8.5x11 paper and they only carry open stock of the 12x12 (no packs of anything). They have a big selection of Jolee and other stickers to choose from. They also have a lot of embellishments you can add to your pages. They do offer classes and they have a die-cut machine. They also will sell die-cuts on a per-piece basis if you don’t want to go to a class. Things seem pretty pricey, but it is one of the only specialty store providers in the area. more
