Originally we went to a different place that was packed full so we ended up at Zanzibar.. We had the best night in weeks!

Worst

we were seated intermediately. the eruption martini was really good and yes their drinks are small. its an okay place to hang out

Hip spot for food and drinks 8/30/2005

This is a trendy mediterranean restaurant and lounge. The food is above average but my favorite aspect of the place is the cushy seating and fun cocktails which makes this a great place when you want to grab a quick bite to eat and then have a few drinks with friends in a hip setting. more

Save your Money 8/21/2005

I came here for a mini gathering with some work friends. Upon entering, you can almost predict what the service will be like because of the way people were looking and twirling their hair. We sat down at a table but after waiting 10 minutes, I got up and ordered me and a friend a drink and when the waitress finally came over, she was peeved and arrogant. On top of that, the drinks were overpriced--$8 for a jack and coke that tasted more like coke and coke. more

good lounging atmosphere 8/12/2005

The pace is very well laid out and is very stylish. There's enough light so that you know where you're going and whom you are talking to. The full bar makes excellent mixed drinks, from exotic and you're run of the mill gin and tonic. Also, they have a large beer selection as well. The place is good because it's divided into two areas. So private parties are welcome as well. The smaller rooms offer a bit more privacy where you can talk to friends or your date. The music is great, and very well mated to the mood of the place. I'd say this place is more loungey and less dancing than anything else. Worth it if you want to just "chill" for the evening. more
