Tuscany is a beautiful restaurant with a limited but stylish menu. There are floor to ceiling windows on one side which actually fold open on nice days so you can be sitting both inside and out at the same time. Nestled in the heart of downtown Napa, Tuscany offers a lot of interesting dishes, many fish-based with strange additions like risotto instead of rice, arugula instead of lettuce. The ambience is lovely and there is a bar with tall beautiful wood stools in one section, bistro tables in another, and short standard tables in yet another section. The ceilings are high and bare wood and the linens crisp and charming. A good place for a first date, but don't get the apple crisp... it's an absolutely beautiful presentation, but not particularly good.
