Good Wine and More 8/22/2005

There is more than just wine here, but the wine selection is really great. I also think that it is very reasonably priced. There is also a good selection of beer that is refrigerated. I found different kinds of Sake here that I have never seen too. Overall, it is a pleasant place to shop and service is great. more

Wines and other spirits in the Brown neighborhood 8/21/2005

Campus Fine Wines carries a wide selection of wines from around the world and it is a favorite of Brown community members on their way to or hosting a dinner. Campus also carries a wide range of beers and ciders (including organic French cider). However, the selection tends to the pricey side. Although there are specials that bring the price down a bit, the specials are not super cheap, and those on a tight budget might want to look elsewhere first. more

Good Place to get Wine 8/21/2005

I like Campus Fine Wines for their selection of wines and liquor. The price is moderately expensive but better than other places on college hill. I find that the wine selection here is pretty impressive for a small liquor store. They carry many different types of wine as well, ranging from very cheap to top of the line bottles that can cost up to a couple hundreds of dollars. The dessert wine selection they have is pretty good and not too expensive. more

your average liquor store 8/17/2005

i have only ever bought beer at campus fine wines, and it was very moderately priced. the selection is pretty good for beer, and also for wine and liquor. it makes for a great stop on the way to a byob place on wickendon. the prices are definitely better than those of spiritus because it is further off college hill. more

Don't let the name fool you, Campus Fine Wines has plenty to offer besides wine. In fact, I have never purchased wine from them, because they have a wide variety of beer and other liquor. It is not huge, but suits my needs, and has pretty good prices. I'm sure their wine is excellent as well. more
