I personally think that Alvarado Middle was in the best location, of all the other middle schools in the district. But, other than that, how do you rate a school other than making it personal to your experience? Well, I suppose I can start with the teachers, there were many teachers I loved and only a few that I wasn't so fond of, but that's all part of the experience. I think that Alvarado Middle is a fantastic palce to send your children to school; there are many great after-school activities you can participate in and really great teachers, as well. more

Great Middle School! 8/13/2005

I think this middle school is very convenient as it is located right next to the elementary school. Alvarado Middle School provides many programs for children to join in like clubs and sports. The teachers do a great job in giving them an excellent education to prepare them for high school. When your children enter middle school they'll be very comfortable there because they where just next door last year and they're surrounded by the people they've seen all their years in elementary school. more

Awesome Middle School 8/11/2005

Alvarado Middle School is an amazing school. The band program there is very good and constantly achieves the Sweepstakes award at music festivals. The gym, cafeteria, and science buildings are newly built so their facilities are very nice. Each room is loaded with many computers so the students will always be able to have computer access. This school has received numerous Distinguished Schools in California Awards. more
