This restaurant has been voted best thai restaurant in san diego by some big food magazine, and it definitely lives up to its hype. The food is authentic and delicious. The prices are very reasonable considering Thai places can at times get pricey. The quantities are decent, and the service is great. Your water glass is never empty. Order for yourself or share a couple of dishes among friends. For the best deal, come during lunch where they have a variety of lunch specials. The atmosphere is quiet and quaint. reservations recommended. more

Perfect Thai cuisine 8/11/2005

This has to be one of my favourite restaurants in the San Diego area! It was another discovery from a graduate school recruitment visit, and I have been a loyal diner ever since. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with an exotic ambiance that supports both casual and dressy attire. This is the perfect place to have a nice date or celebrate a special occasion. The duck curry is especially highly recommended. more

My favorite Thai restaurant 8/11/2005

Celadon does what many other restaurants fail to do. Offer a romantic restaurant in an upscale urban setting with consistently high quality food and excellent service at low to moderate prices. Celadon has a lot of authentic Thai specialties all around $6-12 for dinner prices and lunch is even cheaper. Their appetizers are very good, especially the "fresh spring rolls" with Thai peanut dipping sauce. The roast duck red curry is amazing, and all spicy dishes can be ordered by a 1-10 scale of spiciness. The atmosphere is casual yet upscale and the dining room is very romantic. more
