This is a place I have passed by many times but never really considered. A friend asked me to meet her there and I was so surprised. It was cozy and dimly lit, a nice crowd inside...

Worst

Food is bad, service is ok, and the wine is definitely overpriced (and not that good.) Don't wast your time and money, there are thousands of better places where to take a date.

One of the nicest 4/10/2006

This is one of the nicest malls in Atlanta. It is incredibly gorgeous inside the mall and it is great just to walk around and look at everything. It also has all of the high end retailers that you can not find in too many places such as Tiffanys. This is not the mall I go to for every day shopping, but really worth a trip if you are in the area or looking for some high end items. more

Super nice mall - a must visit in Atlanta 4/10/2006

Phipps Plaza is an extremely upscale shopping mall in Buckhead. The mall itself is beautiful with tons of marble and mahogany wood. This mall is a haven for high end retail stores such as TIffany's. There is a nice food court, as well as some other more upscale restuarants. There is also a great movie theatre. Parking at this mall is not too bad. There are also shuttles that run between many area hotels, as well as between Phipps Plaza and Lenox Square. more

Upscale Mall 3/18/2006

Phipps Plaza is by far the nicest mall in the Atlanta area. It is decorated with marble and contains high-end stores like Tiffany's, Saks, and Intimacy (the lingerie store recently featured on Oprah). They also have a good selection of restaurants and a wonderful movie theatre. The food court is your standard fare though. Do not shop here if you are bargain huniting, but it makes for a wonderful daying of splurging or just window shopping. On a side note, they have the best Santa in town during the holidays. Please be aware that you do need to make reservations to see the Santa, but those can be done online. more

I love this place. 10/14/2005

Very chichi, very stylish, and very out of my price range. But it's great to people watch, window shop and catch up with friends. A movie theater and several restaurants round out the experience...valet parking is available, but parking is abundant for those who prefer to do it themselves. Certainly the goods are expensive, but lots of fun if you look at as a field trip. more

It is one of the best malls in atlanta, being best makes it expensive also. It is a nice place to spend you time and have a look around. I prefer to go there and watch movie rather than shopping as they have good halls and I love to watch movie there...Shopping is rather out of wuestion for me out there...but always in for Window shopping as like to see great stuff on highly costly prices...So WS= Window Shopping....But good stuff for ppl who can afford it. more

GREAT place, pricey 10/4/2005

This is a great mall to go to. Absolutely beautiful. It has a variety of stores, though you need to expect to pay a large amount of money. Located in Buckhead, this mall is very high class, with luxurious clothing and often, live music in the atrium during the holiday season. There is a Niketown, which is rare, and a few other specialty stores that you really can't find elsewhere. more

Upscale shopping 9/20/2005

Phipps is a lot nicer than your average mall - marble everywhere, high end stores like Tiffany's and Saks. A good selection of restaurants plus a food court and a wonderful movie theatre. The santa claus at Phipps is the one we return to year after year -a very traditional looking santa! more

Great shopping but intimidating 8/11/2005

This mall is gorgeous. Beautifully kept with marble. The store selection is fantastic...from Ann Taylor to Saks Fifth Avenue. They also have some nice restaurants to eat at. However, I don't go very often because I feel I need to be dressed to the nine in order to fit in. I have never been made to feel unwelcome but I look at the other shoppers and can tell they're in a slightly different tax bracket if you get my drift. It's nice for window shopping but I don't end up finding enough bargains for my liking. more
