Horrible food....

just as a mere number through a revolving door. 9/28/2009

We got there five minutes before 4pm. The waitress, who was three feet away from us after we sat a table waited until the stroke of 4pm to give us the menus (Lunch ends at 4pm). I was totally cool with paying for dinner anyway, since we were hungry & wanted a lot of to go food for our movie fest later that night. What I wasn't cool with, was the coy waiting period. Aggravated by this was the waitress consistently forgetting our having ordered water and soju for drinks. Moreover, some of the side fixins' seemed spoiled. I mean, I love Korean food and was delighted when I thought I found a restaurant near my home. It was a big disappoinment though, when the restaurant seemed more eager to unload their food that's about to go bad, than pleasing a first time customer. We haven't cooked a meal at home for over 5 years now. Yes, we're very busy business people. So, big mistake for a restaurant to treat their patrons just as a mere number through a revolving door. more

Pretty decent korean food in the sunset district 10/17/2005

We used to come here a lot but haven't lately. Family owned restaurant that offers good, hot food. The key is ordering the meat raw and cooking it at your table. They have a ton of appetizers to go with your entree like to typical korean fare of bean sprouts, kim chee, tofu, etc. Good place to bring the family for a dinner. Parking is actually not too bad either. more

OK place to go to when you want Korean in the sunset district 8/11/2005

This place used to serve some pretty decent sized portions and gave you a tons of small side dishes to go with your meal but the last time I went, it was a total disapointment. First, they did not have the raw beef with egg dish, second, the ran out of bean sprout salad (HUH?), then they gave us only 4 small side dishes when we ordered 2 entrees and a stew. Overall, this place was not like it used to be. I'm not sure if I ever want to go back there again. I guess times are a changing.... more
