Top Hat Car Wash

Top Hat is terrific! Finally the inside of my car looks as good as the outside. I had my carpets shampooed and they look as good as new. Other car washes around West Palm Beach never got the stains out of my carpets. Staff was pleasant and professional. I highly recommend that you take your car to Top Hat for a great clean car experience. more

This place does a pretty good job on a basic wash (that's all I ever get). You can upgrade and get a more detailed service, but you'd spend more (obviously). I just hate washing the car myself, so for about $12, I'd just as soon let someone else do it. There's no ariconditioned waiting area, so be prepared to sweat. more

I went here for the first time last week. I was really not impressed. Its cheap enough..$12 or so depending on your service. I had not had my car washed in a long time, so I chose the wash/wax/interior service. They promised to clean and condition all of my interior leather. When I asked how much, they said $50. I declined. They went down to $40. Apparently, you can barter your way to a better price! I accepted the deal. I then waited about an hour in the hot sun (they have a very small sitting area inside). I finally got my car. The inside leather was greasy and smelly...definitely tons of Armoral. I was wearing a suit and was afraid that it would stain my clothes. Luckily, it didn't. A day or so later, I looked at my car again. They did a decent job. Having said that, I'm not in a rush to go back! more

They used to have ladies days on Wednesdays where you could get the premium wash for just a couple dollars more than a basic (or something like that) but they bagged that offer a few years ago. Too bad. They have people baking in the hot Florida sun drying your car when it comes out, but because the wax job is included in the automated part of the wash, there's a tendancy for a wax buildup to happen. It actually left my headlights yellow after one time I went there. When I went back, the guys tried to buff it out (as well as the areas that were missed the first time), but the damage was done. I do like that it's quick, and they also have a 48 hour rain check policy. So if you get your car washed and it rains, you can go back for a rewash. more
