This is one of the few restaurants I really miss since moving away. Every time I go back to Ohio, I always squeeze in a visit.
Easy Street is a local bar/ café located in beautiful German Village. It's decorated with eclectic memorabilia and they serve wonderful food. The prices on the menu are very reasonable. The people are friendly and the owner will often take a seat and chat with guests when they're not too busy.
The Greek Salad is incredible. I have never been to another place that makes it as good as they do. Easy Street does not skimp on the toppings; there's plenty of red onions, feta cheese, olives, cucumbers, and tomatoes. It's all served with pita bread. The portion sizes are generous--the 1/2 salad is enough for one person, unless you're completely famished, then I'd recommend the full portion. The flaming cheese appetizer always draws attention. The server bring a dish with cheese and lights it. Flames shoot up and the crowds are mesmerized. Although I've never tasted it, it seems to be very popular. In addition to Greek cuisine, they also serve some American favorites such as burgers & fries. If you still have room for dessert, the carrot cake is pretty good, too.
