The Safari Room for Kids is in a Salon also called Hair Excelence. I have been taking my child there for about 2 years or so now. They have a section separated for childrens haircuts. The room theme is a neat jungle theme, and the kids have chairs that are actually little cars they sit in. They also have individual TVs in front of each station, thay have play station hook ups. You can even bring your childs favorite VHS tape in for them to watch, or pick one of the salons. Recently they have gone from a spacious area to a squished tiny room for the children. It's very cramped and uncomfortable. You can barely fit 2 sets of parents in there when your childs hair is being cut. The room is very stuffy and it was a bad idea to make this move. I think it used to be the salons office it's so small. I will no longer be taking my child here... I will be looking for a new place. They have become disorganized in within the past few months... and your appointment time means nothing to them. We had to wait an hour after our appointment time, mostly due to disorganization and the stylist not being able to find anything. This caused my child to go into meltdown mode having to wait so long.
