Krikorian Theatres

This is a very large movie complex with many screens. They have on very large screen as well. Krikorian is a clean theater that is very comfortable for my whole family. My only complaint is the lack of sufficient parking. The theater is also located close to my home and in a safe neighborhood. Lots of fun stores surrounding it. more

Krikorian Premiere Theatres (KPT), or "the krik" as the local teens call it is a great place to hang out, get some grub, and catch a flick. The theatre is the focal point, and central area of the brand new "Vista Village Shops". These shops include; subway, cold stone, chipotle, panda express, steak escape, EB games, El Callejon, Lampost Pizza, wing stop, juice zone, and others. The Krikorian itself is a beautifully built 15 auditorium, stadium seating, movie theater. Ticket prices are your average (overpriced) costs. Averaging between 6-7 for kids and 8-10 for adults. To evade the cost of tickets try to hit the theatres before 6 to get matinee prices. If you plan a dinner and movie date on a Friday or Saturday night be prepared to witness the largest (outside-of-school) social gathering that you have ever seen. more

I love going to this theater. The theaters are huge and have lots of comfy stadium seating. The screen is really big and most seats are good seats. The theater is very clean, even the bathrooms which there are lots of. There are kiosks outside where you can purchase movie tickets rather than waiting in line. There is lots to eat around the theater which makes dinner and a movie easy. There is lots of parking most close to the theater. more

At last Vista has a movie theater (not "theatre", you pretentious fools!). The Krikorian is nice because of its comfortable recliner seating and parking in th rear of the theater, along with its proximity to several chain restaurants. However, the selection of movies generally appeals to the lowest common denominator of movie audience and little effort appears to be made to show foreign or independent films. You still have to drive to La Jolla, if not Hillcrest for those. One positive, though - the theater does offer a Mommy Movie Day for stir-crazy parents to see PG movie along with their little ones. Stroller parking and lowered volume make it more kid-friendly, I understand. Why not call it Family movie day, though? more

I love going to the Krikorian Theatre, the krik as my family and friends have come to call it. The theatres are pretty huge and relatively close to each other. The seats are comfortable and roomy. The concessions are also great. Lots of available places to shop and eat before and after the show. Parking can be a problem on the weekends so try and get there early. more

Vista's first movie theater! I used to always go to the San Marcos Edward's Theater, but now that the Krikorian opened I find myself heading towards that direction! It's in the middle of a nice atmosphere. Very lovely! Nice addition to Vista. Comfortable seats, great consession stands, theaters are conveniently close to each other. Not to mention it's very roomy! I recommend the Krikorian in Vista, Ca. to any movie goers! more

Want to have some fun? Want to go out with family, friends, spouse and have a good time? Then Krikorian Theatres is your place! The Krikorian is a great place to go see a movie! After you've bought your inexpensive tickets, it's the conseccion stand! You can get any kind of snack food you want! Sodas, water, juices, pretzels, popcorn, candy, etc.! The concession are a little expensive though (but what do you expect from movie theatre food?). Once you get into the theatre you have PLENTY of seats to chose from. And with the great stadium seating, any seat is a good one! Now all you have to do is enjoy your movie! more

This theatre is fairly new and what a site to see. Very nicely decorated on the inside. The seats are very comfy. The only drawback is that this is the only place in the city for teens to hang out. On a typical weekend there will be upwards to 60 teens hanging around inside and out. Some of them, not too nice. more
