Threading is an ancient technique for hair removal. The ladies at "Eyes" (located in both Castleton and Lafayette Square Malls) practice this art with skill and speed.
It is hair removal, much like plucking or waxing, but you can get it done for seven bucks (eyebrows), whereas waxing can be much more.
The plus? The cost, and no wax/goop/chemicals on your face.
The minus? It hurts like a son of a gun. But the results last much longer, and it's a much "cleaner" removal (very thorough...even the tiny tiny hairs get swept up in the quick moving thread).
Take some tylenol and go see them.
