My aunt had her kitchen floor cleaned by what she thought was a professional at Stanley Steemer. It spotted her floor terribly. He didn't ask what type of tile she had and assumed what he was using was correct. She had dark beige grout that is now almost white in large areas of the floor. They've come twice to look at it thinking if they scrub it with something else it will bring the color back in the grout. Do the right thing and replace the grout. You're insured and can certainly afford to do it. You've lost her at a customer and will lose me also. I was next for a carpet cleaning. more

Never again 2/7/2012

I have used several carpet cleaning companies but I will never use SS ever again. They worked for less than 30 minutes and my carpet was soaked. Trying to get my money back. more

Poor 9/14/2011

After arriving today, Stanley Steemer tried to charge $50 more than the previous cleanings for the same 5 rooms. After speaking to supervisor, Lauren Darragh, I am even more frustrated as she keeps repeating that I only did 4 rooms in the past. I assured her that I have always done the entire downstairs, but she was very repetitive uninterested in maintaining a long time customer. I have since then found another company, All Pro Cleaner, at a much cheaper rate. more

Great job 8/11/2005

I have 2 boys, a dog and a husband. My carpets take a beating. I called them out as a last effort to save my carpet before replacing it. I had tried everything I knew and could not get the stains out. They came out and removed 90% of the stains. Carpet looks great and they have coupons usually too. more

You don't have to go rent the Rug Doctor from the grocery store. Just have Stanley Steemer come out to your house and clean your carpets. They are timely and friendly and do a great job. The house smells fresh when they are done. They accept coupons, although we had some confusion with our coupon and the number of rooms we could have done for the quoted price. Overall, we were pleased and would use them again. more
