This place opened up this winter on a bleak block of Broadway. It's cheerful awning makes the restaurant easy to spot. The ambience is warmly inviting and a bit romantic. They did a great job with the decor--it reminds me of a small restaurant that you'd find in Normandy or Brittany. The staff is friendly and helpful. I should mention the food too. It's very good. I've eaten there about five or six times now, and I've never had a less than really good meal. It can be difficult to get into on the weekends (due to a NYTimes article), so make a reservation!
