Natalie's Pizza & Subs

The title says it all. Allston is full of crappy places that deliver pizza and stay open late; the town is driven by a huge BU student population. Anyone that tells you their pizza is good is desperate and starving. They DO deliver in pretty prompt fashion, and will pick up their phone and take a last minute order moreso than some of its competitors like Inbound. Natalie's Pizza and Subs serves most of the Boston area with an outstanding delivery service and a storefront that is open until the wee hours of the morning. By far one of the best pizza's in the area with a plethora of toppings to choose from. My personal favorite is the banana pepper pizza- one that isn't found in most other Boston pizza joints. Natalie's has an extensive list of hot and cold subs all served on fresh-baked Italian bread. Also wonderful here are the mozzerella sticks and wings made with the perfect spicy buffalo sauce. Service is always friendly and efficient and you won't find a better value in the late night hours. more

A lot of things tend to close very early in this city, but Natalie's is not one of them. They are open until 3am, and even offer delivery late (though after a certain time, there is an added charge). Although their food tends to be a tad greasy and the place itself smells heavily of it, their food is very filling and they give you a lot of it. Everything from the pizza to their chicken fingers are wonderful, and are great after a late-night study session when no one else is open. The guys that work there are very nice, and it seems to be a favorite of local college students. One late night delivery resulted in them giving my pizza to a drunk guy, however, but they were quick to apologize and offered me either restaurant credit or my money back. more
