We moved once before, and it was an awful experience. This time we did our homework, looking at the reviews on Judy's list and we are glad we did! We liked what we saw about Daley Moving. Jeffrey came out to our house for free, took the time to go through every room and gave us a quote on site. The office sent the proposal over email, and the movers came on time, clean and in uniform. They were great, very kind, courtious, and even cute. The best was that they all spoke English, and were Americans! Since our move, we referred them to many other friends and we just heard from our realtor that her office is moving and they are going to use Daley's too. Thank you Daley for taking such good care of our items! more

Good: Quick to respond to my call, quick to move my belongings, on time service with excellent movers. Men put everything exactly where I wanted them to. When you call you talk to a person, not a machine.. Bad: I didn''t like the negative responses from this web page. I almost did not use Daley. Because I try to support local businessmen and women, I gave them a try and I am glad that I did. The service could not have been better and the estimate was right on. Glad I didn't take Judy's advice!. Improvements: The incorrect phone number is listed on this site. I had to go to the white pages to find the correct number. So maybe Judy's book is not as good as they portray. I would use Daley agian and I highly recommend them for others. They are down to earth, family owed for 80 years and they care about their customers.. more

Highly recommend Daley Moving and Storage. They were quick to respond to my call, quick to send an estimator to my home for free, and fast at moving my things from Torrington to Avon. The actaul charges were right on target with the estimate. I was a little hesitant to have someone pack my fine china and other collectables as they were so fragile and important to me. I gave in and let the experts do their job. As I unpacked each item, one after the other, they were found to be in perfect shape. I am glad I trusted the movers from Daley. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Oh, one more thing, the guys were great to my children, very kind and polite. Thank you Daley movers. more

My husband had utilized this company before when he had moved and found them to be awesome. I even had this company move my belongings to my new home in New Hartford and they were very good. Something happened with the third move. We were guaranteed a certain price, a one-day move and no additional charges. They moved our entire household in 3 days instead of 1. They attempted to charge us for the additional days which we refused to do and they backed down. The reason for the 3-day move was because they were overbooked, understaffed and they were using a small truck. The only good thing I can say about this company is their movers! They are wonderful and efficient people. Their employers give them lemons and they make lemonade. more
