I have stayed at Robin's Nest many times and in different rooms. I love to spend the day floating on the lake in the quiet cove. The last time I was there we rented a kayak and paddled our way to a restaurant on the lake. The rooms have a shabby chick warmth that I find very inviting. The breakfast are hot and hearty (my favorite is the migas) and Robin is the perfect balance of welcoming and respectful of privacy. more

Very dirty horrible experiance ruined my vacation. 6/24/2010

We were very regretful from the moment we arrived to this property ,spider webs every where, rooms very dusty and dirty and smelled like meldew ,the bath tub was stained and dirty. We didn't even want to take a shower there. Food was aweful Breakfast is served in your balcony at 8:00 am if your not up ready to have your breakfast, they just leave it there for hours and expect you to eat it. We had reserved our room for 3 days but we were so uncomfortable staying there we decided to leave one day early and robin promissed us not to charge us for the third night since we weren't staying, but she ended up charging my credit card anyway whithout my consent. You will regret booking this property from the moment you arrive.Try lake way in or vintage villas you will be glad you did .Don't ruin your get away staying at Rrobins Nest you will be very disapointed. Pros: Bad food, spider webs every where, not worth the money Cons: Dirty ,spider webs every where, rooms smell like meldew more

Sad Little Dirty Place 2/19/2007

My husband and I went here for our anniversary. It was last minute in the middle of December and the one place we could get a hold of. We should've been aware how desperate they are when they ""moved"" a regular out of the honeymoon suite so we could use it. We showed up late after a Christmas party we attended and my first reaction was shock when we walked in and the ""lobby"" was completely cramped and cluttered. I'm not even sure if it was a lobby... maybe just her house?? Not anything as I would imagine the welcoming space for ANY bed & breakfast would be. She took us up to the room and the wicker furniture on the porch was old and dilapitated. Determined not to be a spoil sport we walked in to discover an old kitchen, old furniture, old bedding, NONE of it had even the hint of being decorated for any purpose other than being thrown together. The bathroom was smaller than our home bathroom (and we live in an apartment) and there was a FISH SHOWER CURTAIN. It was quite a nightmare. Our home is only 20 minutes away so we decided we'd much rather stay home in our CLEAN and comfy, pretty, decorated bed and large garden tub shower than in this place. Actually I was quite afraid to stay at this place. Even the air had a tinge of dirty on it. Pros: absolutely none, I would not recommend staying here if you were paid to Cons: noisy bar down the street, dirty, ugly decor and cluttered will take your money even if you are not satisfied more
