Cest Bon Cajun Cuisine

I loved it. I live in the area and have been many times. I especially like the live music on weekends. I always get the Crawfish and Andouille Sausage Pasta. It's kind of spicy, but thats what I like. more

On March 17th, 2007, I made a dinner reservation for 7pm of up to 25 guests for my birthday celebration. Unfortunately, this was the most mediocre experience of my life. The waitresses finally came to take our orders, at approximately 8pm. We received our dinner salads another 20 minutes later. During this time we never were offered refills on our drinks nor asked if we wanted any other alcoholic beverages. My guest had to go to the bar to make drink orders which were cheaper than ordering from the menu. I had to ask the waitress about the complimentary dinner rolls, and her excuse was they just received the yeast which had just finished rising and they were cooking the bread right now. The waitress brought out one basket of rolls for 15 starving people at about 8:30pm. The servers finally brought out our food about 9pm, but only brought out half of my guest order. My guest could not eat at the same time; some food was burnt, cold, and incorrect. Half of the party was finished eating by the time the other side of the table received their order. I received the incorrect order, but by this time I was so hungry I just ate what was brought to me. This was supposed to be my day and I had to constantly talk to the waitress and manager about the quality of service, and for my guest to pay 20% gratuity for dissatisfactory service we received is disgraceful. There was a policy on the menu stating that if you have a dissatisfactory experience please speak with the manager to adjust the gratuity. Well, one of my guests spoke with the manager regarding the policy and the manager informed her that because of the large amount of guest we had she could not adjust the gratuity on the bill. Manager made no attempt to appease my guest for the horrible service we received and due to this the resturant has lost future business. I will be contacting corporate about my experience. This past weekend, my friends and I received very poor service from those of C'est Bon. Prior to arriving at the location, a reservation was made for up to 25 people. We had close to 20 in our party and were told we would have 2 servers. Tell me why we waited 40 minutes just for water! Which by the way, was not refilled until we told the manager about it before paying our bill. As far as the alcoholic beverages, some in our party went to the bar and ordered the same drink they had already ordered with the servers and returned with them before receiving the order made with the servers. These orders were made at the bar 20 minutes after making the orders with the servers. By the way, the drinks ordered with the server were not the same price as those ordered from the bar. My meal was given to someone else; therefore, I had to wait for my order to be prepared again, by the time I received it, everyone in my party was nearly done eating. When I informed the manager, she never apologized. She simply stated she would address the crew. A couple in our party was double charged the 20% gratuity; they were charged $8 on a $20 bill. One of the meals they ordered had to be taken off the bill, the food was poorly prepared. The food was dry and overcooked. Others in our party were charged a gratuity ranging between 20 & 25 percent. Again, we received this poor service having 2 servers. One of the two did not know anything when she was asked a question and the other was hardly ever seen at our table. We had to ask for the complimentary bread that is supposed to be given. And the kicker...the birthday girl was given the wrong meal. Becuase she didn't want to have to wait an absurd amount of time and possibly receive any employee additives, she went ahead and ate the meal. A piece of advice for all of you who DO NOT carry cash, C'est Bon charges an additional 20% to your check to be held by the bank until the price of the order is paid; this is added to credit/debit card users. Pros: If you are going as party of 2, you MIGHT receive good service. Your server will have less to deal with. Cons: C'est Bon is not the place for a large group. more

C?est Bon Cajun Cuisine is the worst dining experience I have had in recent years. I will explain in detail. In honor of my grandmother?s 95th birthday we invited 40 people to eat at this restaurant. Guests arrived at 6 PM and the dinner honoree arrived at about 7:00 PM. Mind you that we were there for over an hour before the crew waiting on us came over with the game plan for the evening. We ordered at about 7:30. By 8:30 when we had not received so much as a glass of water, concerns arose. At 8:45 PM I went to ask the staff if it was at all possible to get the 95 year old women her meal. Dinner began being served at about 8:45 PM. The steaks were not made to order. We could have requested Well, Medium or Rare?it was all the same. We did not complain. It then took about an hour to get the check. Once again, a 95 year old woman is waiting in the wings while all this is going on. Our checks were incorrect, paid bar tabs were added dinner bills and the staff was so confused we did not argue. We wanted to pay whatever we could to vacate this place that we would have paid anything. There real kicker was a 17% ($57.00 tab?$67.00 after gratuity?you do the math) gratuity charge added to the bill. If left to me, we should have paid half price for the service we received and a $1.00 tip out of sheer kindness. All in all, I have never had a dinning experience of this nature. My recommendation is to consider Waffle House before dropping a dime in this establishment. I will never go back. Never is a strong word but that is how I feel. You wouldn't think that someone would get excited over a salad, but this is definitely the exception to the rule! This was seriously the best salad I've ever had. The chicken was cooked perfectly over a crispy bed of lettuce with the creamiest, most delicious cesear dressing. Totally unexpected seeing as how I just stopped in to get something to-go with some friends. I've been looking for this place ever since and now I've arrived! Pros: food more

A friend and I found this restaurant for another friend of ours whom we surprised for her birthday. It was my first time there and it was wonderful! My boyfriend is from out of town, and I must bring him because he and I would love the live jazz and romantic atmoshphere. Everything on the menu at Cest Bon is excellent - even the SALAD (which you MUST try)!! Not to mention the great atmosphere and the wonderful service. I have NEVER had bad service at Cest Bon, which is very important to me. Reaonable prices for the food that you get - I rate it a 10. I've eaten here several times! It has been good each and everytime! It's wonderful to have good dining in the area! The food is great and so is the service. I would like to give this restaurant the highest of rating. Last night(July19th,2002)was the third time that my family and I have been to C'est Bon and every time has been a wonderful experience. We had guest with us from another city and they were quite impressed especially with the waiter. Management obviously takes time to make sure the staff has people skills because they are all so pleasant and thoughtful.
