Dale's Train Station

I have been a regular customer at Dales Train Stations for almost 4 months now, I honestly didn't really want anything to do with model train in til i went into Dales it was a little over whelming with everything stacked up but now its not like that. On my first visit to Dale's I met the owner Dale he was very nice, helped with anything we needed help with and even got to know us better witch for the business he runs i think is a good thing. Know i go into Dale's on a weekly basis and help out around the store, just because, I really enjoy going up there, it is really relaxing. Over all its the best train store around in my opinion, he does repair also and its not just trains it all different types of things (old toys, trains, etc.) His staff is also very nice and helpful. more

Although we have loved Dale's Train Station in the past, Dale and his staff completely ignored request for train parts and special items from me. In total, probably about $350+ of parts needed. His shop is VERY cool, and he has a lot of Lionel for sale, but I am not impressed with the customer service. I followed his advice to send a parts list via email so as to not take up too much of his time in store. Three weeks go by,no reply, no help from the staff that answered the phone when following up with inquiries, they mentioned how busy they were, I was told the repair guy would be in at a certain hour to inquire, but it never happened. I was just surprised that I could not even BUY anything from them, in this economy isn't any business good business? Bottom line: if you are trying to take care of special needs with model locomotives, getting parts to repair trains, go elsewhere. Like trainz website out of AZ. We would have gladly given Dale the local business if he had time for us. more

I have a three-year-old son and went to Dale's as an advance man for Santa and I was awestruck, you simply don't find stores and owners like this anymore (what a shame). You could lose yourself for hours soaking in the goods. Pros: Owner is passionate, well-stocked, a museum and a store more

The shop owner was very helpful and enthusiastic about everything in the store. He knew everything there was to know about Lionel trains and the hobby. My jaw dropped when I entered the door and saw the imense selection of Lionel and other train accessories. I will definately be back!
