Java Man Coffee On 4th Ave

I just read that horrible review of Java Man written as if by the owner of Topless Teas! I mean, what is your deal?? Anyway, I work just around the block from this tiny cafe and I have to say it is not a bad place. It really is for the work & PSU crowd, a place to stop in for a quick cup o' joe and a bite to eat. They are consistent and pretty cheap. You can get a pretty tasty egg, cheese & ham english muffin for $2 when you order a cup of coffee. I get the 16 0z so that comes to 3.65 total. That's cheaper than other establishments in the vicinity. They also have good smoothies and make a nice sandwich, for again, a cheap price. No, it's not the coolest, comfiest cafe to hang out in but it is pretty nice and it is definitely less generic than a fast food joint or chain coffee shop. When you're busy slaving away in your cubicle and need to duck out real quick for coffee & food, and don't want to break the bank doing it, this is the place! I also appreciate the ample supply of cream, cinnamon, vanilla & chocolate powder, and raw sugar avail for doctoriing your coffee. Me, I just like vanilla powder and not many places have it! It's the small things in life, I tell ya! Pros: inexpensive, courteous staff, good coffee, nice window view Cons: not fancy, no couches, limited selection more

I have been a loyal customer to Java Man since 3/24/08. since the time that i have been there has been a lot of changes, not the bad ones but good ones, like that theres new owners and the place is more clean. Their prices are pretty good compared to other shops. Ive tried almost everything in their shop and they taste great. Well i just wanted to reply to that tay person's review and say that, i recommend going to Javaman, come and check it out Pros: great prices, great drinks, they toast their bagels, great smoothies, and clean bathrooms Cons: I love the bagel sandwichs, except for the ""Ham and Cheese Combo"" more

Sorry but no jam, no ham, no flavor! This place has terrible teas I had two ants in my buble tea the only time I went there and I wont be going back. The waiter was extremely rude and probably put saliva in my tea which tasted like it was all syrup and nothing else I give this place two thumbs down. The restrooms were really inconvenient I hope that they clean this restroom at least once every 5 years, there was no toilet paper! I would recommend Topless Tea, the teas are great (many flavors), the service is awesome! Also the restrooms are cleaned daily. Great atmosphere, go to Topless Tea!
