Big time schemers and rip off artists 7/27/2009

While shopping for my sons first car, the salesmen gave me a deal I agreed to. We signed a contrcat. Nothing special and actually higher then two other deals but my son had to have the color jeep he wanted. This salesmen talked more about how bad the other two dealers were in Wantagh and Levittown were and how one was going out of business because of too much inventory he could not get rid of. I let him BS all he wanted as long as I got the jeep. Time to pickup the jeep so we as a family go to island jeep. The salesmen who wrote the contract wouldn't say hello to us. We got put off to another salesmen who tried to act like a nice guy. Then we went to see the idiot in the back room - the closer . Came time to fianlize all down payments etc and sign all and he was pi$$ed I didn't take the extra warrantees and BS he wanted to sell us. It came down to where he said he could sell me the jeep because it was too cheap eventhough I had a signed contract. I had to ask my family to step outside the office so I could talk to him. Afraid of being sued we got the jeep. The original a$$hole salesmen didn't even say a word of thankyou to us or wish my son good luck. GLAD TO SEE THEM OUT ON BUSINESS!!!! This place is a ripoff big time. They really only want you to lease a car. This is my story. I found a 2005 Chevy Avalanche. The sales people wanted to lowball my trade in so I kept it. The price at the lot was more then the car was worth. I founf the dealer ad on the internet for a $500.00 discount, they refused to acknowledge it as well as a 100,000 warranty. On Sunday I was contacted by the dealer that they would accept my offer of 22,000. ON MONDAY THE SALES MANAGER REFUSED IT. He would not devulge the price they paid for it since it had 20,000 miles on it. They acquired it in Florida,Hmmmm. Well, I was desperate for a vehicle so I paid 1,000 more then my offer and they insisted that I pay it off via a loan to close the deal. I wanted to pay cash. I took the vehicle as I was desperate for it. I contacted the dealership owner and after 10 emails and phone calls he said he would look into the 500 dollar internet discount and 100,000 warranty. I never heard from them again. You know how that goes.....Stay away from these crooks. You will only regret buying there. INow I know why their business is so poor. By the way the inept sales manager has pictures of $200,000 racing boats on his wall. He has no personality and is a poor representation to even his workers and employees. I would never recommend the place to anybody. I also went to the bank and paid the vehicle off the next week to avoid any deal the loan company had with them. They really dont know anything about customer service. This is my story about them and I would rather these crooks go bankrupt and reveals anybody can be a car saleman. Pros: Internet sales is a real nice guy Cons: the place is a ripoff, ppor sales manager and customer service, go elsewhere. more

Experience them for yourself ,best price,no pressure at all, very friendly. Just ask anyone you see on the road with their license plate frame. Jim Casey was my salesperson,he was just great.Highly recommend buying a Jeep from this dealer. Pros: best price , no pressure, friendly good people, no games, exclusive jeep Cons: far from where I live, but worth the trip more

TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP, AVOID!!!! 6/10/2008

KEEP AWAY!!! Please do yourself a favor and stay away from these ripoff artists at all costs. Typical dealership tactics and lies. Will say and promise anything to get a deal done, when they know they cant come through. One of the worst experiences of my life. Again, KEEP AWAY!!!!!!!! KEEP AWAY!!!| KEEP AWAY!!!!! Pride themselves as being like a ma and pa dealership because they are small. DO NOT BE FOOLED!! Will do ANYTHING to close a deal. Lie, promise, beg...
