It's nice to come to this office and be treated like a person and not just another social security number. I've had many multiple injuries playing sports, so needless to say I've had to have many MRI's done and numerous x-rays. more

Park Avenue radiology is a great facility because of their staff and the fact that they have at their disposal all state-of-the-art equipment. Plus they take all kinds of insurance. Pros: Great staff, New technology, convienient hours Cons: waiting room can take awhile more

I waited for two hours for an ultrasound appt. only to be told that the machine was broken and to reschedule. During that 2 hour span, I was never informed of any problems instead I was repeatedly told that I would be next or seen in 5 minutes. The administrative staff was rude and incompetent. When I asked for my prescription back, I was told to wait until another staff members came back from her lunch break to look for it. After even more waiting, I was then only given a copy because the staff member did not want to be bothered by having to look for it. During my long wait, I witnessed other terribly upset patients voicing their concern on their equally long waits, bad service and the staff's lack of effective communication. My doctor sent me to Park Avenue Radiology for an x-ray and then an MRI. Wanted to go somewhere else but he insisted that I go there. He was probably receiving a kick back. I waited 3 hours for an x-ray appointment and 8 days for the results. The people at the front were rude, the doctor refused to speak with me. \r \r I got a call the following week from my doctor and they recommended an MRI, he just got the results. Thought I would try it again as I had no where else to go and again waited a couple of hours before a rude technician told me the machine was broken. They gave me cab fare to come back again which I did. They then misread the MRI and I did not have surgery I needed until another doctor sent me somewhere else.\r \r Would not send my worst enemy there!
