I Just got 2 SL1200mk5 , and a Stanton mixer. There customer Service People were great , and easy to talk to about Products , and Helpful. All my stuff got here when they said it would. I will be back again in the future for other Products. Pros: Best prices in town Cons: none more

Worst experience. Ordered T shirts last year from Top DJ and I am still awaiting them. My issue is how come theyre still in business if there are soo many complaints about them. I will be reporting them to the police also Pros: No Pros Cons: Thats right, theyre all cons more

These people did not deliver goods that were paid for in 2006 for $4000.00. It seems that they have a history of not delivering. We are currently reporting them to the police, which I recommend to anyone else. This might stop them. Wilma Pros: Non Cons: Take your money and don't deliver the goods more

I have ordered a mixer from these guys. They charged the card- 4 MONTHS AGO. I never received my gear.. and they will NOT return my countless emails or phone messages about refunding my cc. So they took my $ and gave NO product. SUper shady. I even asked if they had the mixer in stock when I ordered & the rep said yes "we have plenty" and now I am out a TON of money, no mixer and NO MONEY. 4 months!!!! I have been a loyal customer of both Satellite Records and TOPDJGear for over 10 years! I watched them grow from a small packed foot to ceiling with vinyl to their new spot at bowery and houston. They have been growing their business and while many record shops are shuttering they are flourishing due to their strong gear business. They sell cds. clothing, books, berverages and food and oh yeah, records. While some Djs have been moving to cds and fdigital media they have kept this part of the business strong and the records always up to date yet also sell the "new age" dj gear like MIDI controllers, apple macs and sofware and home production equipment. They also have a playstation, tv and lounge area with fish tank to chill in with plenty of dj magazines. since its in NY you never know who you will bump in to, i've met tdanny tenaglia, jonathan peters, dannny krivit, dj vibe, david morales and other very famoud djs there...it might be a good idea to bring with you a few of your mixes on cds to hand out as you never know... Some Djs prefer vinyl others prefer lother media to spin. whatever the case may be , they have it all and their salees staff are the nicest and most help[ful record store employees i know. they always remember my name and even hold records for me! (don't telll them i told you that!). They get new stuff in like 2-3 times a week! truley one of the last record mecca's in the world! more

This online store has the worst service ever. I ordered some products from them on April 2007, I sent the money & I never received the products ordered. I have talked to many employees, I have sent several emails requesting my money back and five months later I am still trying to receive my refund. I wonder if some day I will be able to get my money back. Topdjgear & Satellite Records is the biggest scam online ever, do not trust this place or you will loose your money like me and many other costumers. My battle is not over yet. more

I've been waiting for close to 4 months for an order, which I was told shipped NUMEROUS times, but could never provide tracking info (LIES). I finally had enough and submitted a chargeback to my bank, finally got my money back. They say they are under new management... more lies. Yes, they have an entire new staff, but that's only because their ENTIRE old staff quit! I got to know all of them really well (Mark Bee, Derek, Ori, etc), all were a pleasure to deal with, and always straight with me after having dealt with them on an almost daily basis because of this situation. They told me horrors of bounce payroll checks, forced to lie to customers, fake tracking numbers, empty promises from the owner, Marc, who is still the owner, and they all finally had enough and all quite at the same time. So, their new management ploy, is just that, a ploy. Buyer beware. Same owner, same business, and same shady policies. What a way for the Satellite Records name to go down since TopDJGear took them over. I still buy records from these guys, but if it's not in stock @ the store, then don't bother ordering it (it = music, gear, parts, whatever). Your better off going to Rock & Soul or even Guitar Center, where they actually have stuff in stock! And a T-shirt, for waiting weeks? You've got to be kidding me! I'm sure it's one of those tacky Topdjgear t-shirt's they tried to push on me, which by the way, violate trademark laws from both Sony & HBO! I just recently received my order after waiting for weeks. When I called I automatically wanted to say a few words to whomever was on the other end but I was greeted very well after speaking to a gentleman stating that he was the new General Manager and that the store was under new management and that he was eager to accommodate me the best way he could. I was not falling for it at first because I thought is was just all BS but I was reassured that my product would be shipped to me as soon as possible and that they would even throw in a t-shirt and some mats for my troubles. He told me that the person before was no longer there and that things were expedited differently now, so I agreed to wait and I'm glad I did. I got my turntables and the items promised. I was just in the store last week to buy some speakers and they helped me pick the one that suited me the best and the service was GREAT!! A few weeks ago I wanted nothing to do with them anymore but now they totally proved me wrong. I'm posting this because I know that there are people like me waiting and I've read the reviews but I totally recommend this store. They have a good selection of equipment and they won me over. more

Never buy anything from this company. I made an order on april 2007 they said it was shipped and today I have received nothing. I have tried to cancel the order and get my refund and this people do not comply. I send many emails and they don't answer & costumer service always transfer my calls and don't respond either. It's been a very long time and I'm still fighting these people.Their president is an inresponsable person. If you order for them you will loose your money. I have spoke to the new manager & is still the same story. DO NOT TRUST THIS PEOPLE. Worst store ever.
