I think most people would be better off avoiding this agency. Most of the women here are poorly trained and don't speak English very well. Do you really want to entrust your loved...

I have set up two appointments and someone I know set up one appointment with them and each time the person didn't show up and instead of them saying they were very sorry and sympathized with us, the customer, they said it was a ""misunderstanding."" Never once apologized for the inconvenience or took any responsibility on their end. Also very pushy, when setting up a schedule, they tried to set up hours on days that were not agreed upon. Lauren and Alex are very condescending and not very understanding of what people who need these services are going through. more

A Wonderful Experience 3/8/2011

From December 2007 to July 2008 South Jersey Home Care took care of my sister; it was a wonderful experience for our family. The aide, Grace, was a ?saving Grace? indeed. In every respect of her duties she was the consummate professional, a delightful companion, and managed the household affairs to perfection. She was always positive, helpful and communicative. I would not hesitate to give South Jersey Home Care my highest recommendation. more

There are not enough words to express my appreciation for the excellent care given to my Mother by the staff and caregivers of South Jersey Home Care. Their aids were angels providing not only quality care but a genuine concern and love for my Mom. We have come to think of them as our extended family. I highly recommend this agency; they are very knowledgeable about the needs of the elderly. more

Avoid this agency! 1/12/2009

I think most people would be better off avoiding this agency. Most of the women here are poorly trained and don't speak English very well. Do you really want to entrust your loved ones with inexperienced caregivers?The management is dishonest and deceitful. I just lost a loved one because the management sent an unqualified person to look after my Mom. She'd be alive today if it weren't for South Jersey Home Care. Pros: Affordable compared to nursing homes Cons: Most staff inexperienced and incompetent more
