This museum has a large collection of items that are not just about tobacco, but what life was like for the rural family in NC in the early 1900's. Exhibits range from medical care, education, home life, religion, etc. There are on-site structures that are available for viewing as well: outhouse, a log cabin, and barns. The tour is self-guided and the staff extremely friendly. You will walk away with a strong sense of pride for the rural people from the past.
Pros: great exhibits, inexpensive, great staff
