St. Cloud State makes up most of St. Cloud's college student population. It is a large University on the banks of the Mississippi River. The University offers a variety of majors ranging from education to the newly offered nursing degree. As far as University's go, SCSU is fairly typical with daily and evening classes, and many extracurricular activities. The campus is able to offer big university type services, while maintaining a small university feel.
The SCSU Huskies Hockey team is very popular, offering up exciting games each year.
