R & R Kennels

I've been going to R & R Kennels since 2004 and found people who care for my pet at a reasonable price and recommend them to all my 5 daughters who live here in Michigan. As they took their pets to the Vet at Long Lake Animal Hospital me daughters & friends had nothing but good words for all the people working for them. My daughter cat got into a fight with another cat where she lived and her cat's eye got torn. It had to be removed and Long lake Animal Hospital removed the cats eye and my daughter saved hundreds of dollars. She was also given time to pay her bill. My dog Molly has had wonderful care form the Vet as well as from the staff. They are very, very busy and everyone has many jobs to fill and if someone is not behind the counter when you walk in, they are busy serving other customers. I would recommend everyone to take there pet there and also to R & R Kennel that takes care of Molly's grooming at a reasonable price. The service I received for my pet is top notch and very professional at a very reasonable price. I've had Molly, my pet, at many different Vets around the country as I travel, and Long Lake Animal Hospital and R & R Kennel are the very best in my book. If you need more information about the Vet or Services all you have to do is ask, but you must be patient because they are all very busy. I brought my cat in for check up , dental cleaning, and full exam. I have never brought my cat to this vet before. I have to say after this visit I will never bring my cat here again. The place is a dump, it smells like wet dogs. The floor was dirty and the 1960 decor may come back in style some day. When I first walked in NO ONE WAS BEHIND THE MAIN DESK. I didn't know that you have to sign in because NO ONE WAS BEHIND THE MAIN DESK. The place was a complete mess. After dropping my cat off I was told to return after 4:00. When I returned at 4:00 NO ONE WAS BEHIND THE MAIN DESK, several people were waiting in line out the door. Several employees shuffling through a stack of papers, but no one even talking to customers. SEVERAL PEOPLE WERE UPSET BECAUSE NO ONE WAS BEHIND THE MAIN DESK. Nobody knew what to do, as employees slowly come strolling in after their ""lunch"" break. I was directed to walk down a narrow hall to pay my bill, NO FOLLOW UP CARE WAS RECOMMENDED, NOR SUGGESTED. I didn't know if my cat had an infection or not. My cat was never seen by the vet. THIS VET DOES NOT TAKE ANY CREDIT CARDS, I was unaware of this when I picked up my cat because NO ONE WAS BEHIND THE FRONT DESK. The lady who was taking my money was arrogant and rude. I expressed my dissatisfaction with customer service, she didn't want to hear it. She should quit her job because it is a disservice to the customers. I would fire her. The place is a mad house.
