Specialties: We sell and install all types of residential and commercial flooring. Our specialty is our in stock rolls of first quality Stainmaster carpets. Established in 1970. I. Edinberg Company was a family textile processing business started in 1900. The mill was powered off of the French River until the hurricane of 1955. In 1947 the business was passed down from Isaac Edinberg to his son William and in the early 1960's the business evolved from yarn spinning to the manufacturing of braided rugs. The business at this point was both wholesale and retail and braided rug accounts were established all over the country.
In the early 1970's, we started selling broadloom, wall to wall carpeting to the retail and commercial markets. Bernie Edinberg, spearheaded this effort and quickly developed an affinity for the Stainmaster brand of nylon fiber used in carpeting.
