Loved this shopping experience 2/20/2012

I visited this mall in May 2011 on a business trip. I loved that it was not overly crowded yet had just the right shops for my tastes. I especially loved Mega Mart which had the best prices on everything! Im going back this week and cant wait to visit the mall again. more

GA most mediocre mall it's rather poor, and inferior 7/14/2011

it's an okay mall to shop at but according to SOME CERTAIN employees working at an Asian movie kiosk it is not a place to meet new people or hang around. this man wrongly accused me and my friend of stealing a DVD from him. he knew were just looking at them he was just annoyed at us walking around that area and talking to one of his co-workers. this man followed us into a shoe store and not only verbally harassed us but basically called me and my friend lesbians prior to calling security on us! that is what i call horrible service. aside from that they have a nice selection of stores there and the atmosphere is very pleasant and familiar. :/ more

A Gwinnett County Staple! 1/5/2009

I'm really disappointed by reading some of the negative reviews about Gwinnett Place Mall, it has been around forever and has survived the many changes that the city and county have endured. To be honest, it has MOST of the great stores you would find in any mall; Macy's, Sears, JCPenney, Belk, Victoria's Secret, Gap, Abercrombie & Fitch, Forever 21, American Eagle, Express, Bath & Body Works, Yankee Candle etc. Right outside the mall they have a Macy's furniture and home goods store which very, very few Atlanta malls can offer. Pros: Reliable, brand name stores at value prices Cons: Older mall more

Frickin' great place 12/9/2008

i went here for the first time last week end with some of my friends to hang out and it was kinda great... there are a lot of fancy stores, and even though i couldn't find what i was looking for, i had a great time over there. Pros: Best place in town to hang out with friends Cons: Not enough shoes stores more

Meh.. 11/17/2008

This mall is for people who wants to do some simple shopping. There's mostly teen/young adult type of stores. It's not the best mall out there. If you're looking for a classy, expensive mall, this isn't it. There are many ghett0 people at this mall and today another shopper warned me about how this girl was being chased to her car by some guys who jumped out of the bushes, so it's also not the safest mall out there. Macy's isn't that great compared to the other Macy's, it is just so so. The hair salon Toni & Guys is amazing though. Pros: Cheap stuff Cons: Doesn't have too many good stores.. at all more

WHAT!!! HAPPENED TO THIS MALL !!!!!! 11/2/2008

I recently moved back to Gwinnett county and so I was really excited to be moving back close to what used to be one of my favorite malls, what a disappointment(CAN YOU SAY HOODOLISOUS). All of the major chain stores that made Gwinnett Place mall what it was has been shut down and replaced with stores that sell really cheap and cheesy clothing. Even the Cookie Company has shut down and that?s sad. This is not a mall. This is a flea market with an escalator and Starbucks. I was even told by the salespeople in one of the stores if eating in the food court not to eat anywhere but Chick-fil-a, Subway, and City Bistro due to the bad ratings. In fact I was told that one of the food chains got as low as a 38 (Jamaican Food). They even have an abandon building which looks as though it has been broken into which makes me wonder why have security. It just looks bad and I can not see how they make any money. I only go out of desperate need. If I really need to shop, I patronize Perimeter Mall where quality really matters. Pros: Location Cons: EVERYTHING ELSE!!!!! more

Super Trendy clothes 11/4/2007

I just moved to the Atlanta area and this is the best mall I have been to. They have unique shops with very trendy clothing. It is definately aimed towards the young adult. They have the perfect going out clothes that young people are always searching for. The mall carries many urban clothing lines. The hair salons are very educated and up-to-date with what is popular now. def. recommend this mall... Pros: trendy clubbing type clothing, inexpensive, great customer service Cons: pretty spread out so long walk to get from one end to the other. more

Give this Mall a Miss... 5/30/2007

This is one of the more downtrodden malls in the metro area, and even though it is the closest one to me, I drive the extra miles to go to Northpoint or Perimeter. There are too many teens, not enough of the nicer chain stores, and there is a definate ""K-Mart"" feel to the place. I went to the Macy's there to find some things on a wedding registry, and they had NONE of the things on the list. The sad looking and sounding guy just kept saying that this Macy's didn't carry the items, and I would have to go to Perimeter or Northpoint. This mall needs a major overhaul, otherwise more and more stores will continue to leave. Pros: The Gymboree store is never crowded there, because no one shops there! Cons: Too many teens, not enough nice stores, very downtrodden more

Gwinnett is Great. 11/25/2005

I've been to serveral other malls in the metro-Atlanta area and they just can't compete. This mall is PERFECT for anyone, but teenagers and young adults especially. There's a vibrant array of different stores to suit everyone's taste and needs and it's BIG. Teenagers looking for a decent semi-formal outfit, men looking for a tux, kids looking for cool toys and gadgets or grandparents looking for furniture. This mall's got it all. :) Pros: inexpensive, big & great lighting, variety Cons: n/a more
