In 2007 I remember approximately 30 active full-time drivers in that Lancaster office. But now ? Good luck getting a taxi from United anywhere North of Los Angeles since Alfred left in 2008. Over two years later, in the entire 661 area code I count 3 1/2 drivers. more

YES THIS IS A LEGAL TAXI. 10/8/2006

SAFE RIDE: This is a legal taxi and that is a good thing. As of 9-06 United Taxi is one of only two legal taxicabs in the City of Lancaster and the only company really serving Palmdale 24 hours per day and 7 days per week. United Taxi is also expanding service into the Santa Clarita Valley. Pros: 90% of Palmdale and 50% of Lancaster Cons: You must know where you live (call takers are in Los Angeles) more
