Everyone is friendly. It even draws the straight crowd in. Frank the owner is very generous. It's nice to go into the bar on the weekends afternoons and see the same crowd. Pros: Friendliness Cons: I can't think of any.... Oh yeah! You wind up having such good of a time you spend too much money. more

Ok, was in town for a few days on business. Looked up this (the only) bar in Ventura. Found it a little off the beaten path, but, not much. I must say that this was one of the coolest bars I have ever seen in the halloween season. Went back every night I could. Had to give it a props up for the fun!! He seems to be very popular with the locals but must say that Tim the Bartender is a really good barmaid and for sure a bit of candy for the new customers too. Music was great. Drinks were good at half the price of most drinks in LA or SD. Got to say that my B-day is in a few weeks and am gong to try to get company to send me back to Ventura for the week. Good job guys!!!! P.S. If in Ventura got to visit Aloha Steakhouse. Good recomendation by locals for good food and view. Pros: Nice crowd, very mixed, cheep cover! Cons: Hard to get to bar during busy time. more

Was there over Ventura Pride on 8/25/07. Found early happy hour quite, but the drinks were stiff and the prices low. I especially liked the cute bartender Tim. Pros: Cheep and stiff drinks during Happy Hour Cons: Looks like a College/Sports bar in the mid west more

Dont let Tim take all the fan fair! All the bartenders are great at Paddys! Dennis, Wade, and Tom are great at what they do!! My fave is Dennis, he knows how to make you feel like a superstar! Pros: Great parking, great prices, all around great staff!! Cons: Cant think of one. more

Who would have thought this was a bar in ventura? During the week it is a bit dull and some of the bartenders very RUDE, (dont bother them on a smoke break or playing video games) But when it turns the heat up...Damn its hot! The bar has two sides on the weekend the main bar is for the older guys that like to sit and Gauk, But the ""downstairs"" (only 4 steps) is a FUN FUN FUN place to hang on both Friday and Saturday nights! It is a common fact that the BEST Bartender in town is a young hottie named ""TimmY"", he runs the downstairs bar and dance floor! Go and hang for just one drink and you will soon know what hundreds of his loyal fans have already discovered: He is Hot, Fast as a humming bird, and so sweet to have you enjoy his game! The music is a mix of great latin songs and a new mix of Hip Hop beats. The Dj's are Great they have a boy and a girl! The bar also has a great outdoor patio for smokers and gossipers, but the best seat in the house is in view of the bartenders, (Timmy & Oscar)they are the life of the party in Venturas only Gay/Straight nightclub!!
