The son of the owner is SUPER obnoxious and rude. I bought four new tires from them, and the front tires were completely worn down after a year! Jr. the son of the owner first said they do not honor tire warrenties and we would have to go through the manufacturer. After the run around, he finally said that they have to process the warrenty refund, but that he does not like to deal with it. He told me I would have to pay everything in full and wait and hope that I get a partial refund. He was so obnoxious stating that whoever rotated my tires with oil changes did not rotate them or I was lying. He tried to do everything he could not to process my warrenty refund that I finally ended up going somewhere else. NEVER USE AMATO TIRE! more

I'VE BEEN TAKING MY CARS TO ROB FOR OVER 15 YEARS. THEY ARE TRUE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS AND DON'T SCREW YOU. I NEVER HAVE FELT COMFORTABLE GOING ANYWHERE ELSE. ROB HAS SAVED ME MONEY AND HELPED ME OUT NUMBEROUS TIMES. MY CHILDREN ARE NOW TAKING THEIR TRUCKS TO HIM AND IF ANYONE ASKED ME WHERE TO TAKE THEIR VEHICLE I WOULD TELL THEM ""AMATO TIRE AND BREAK""!!! more

I have had all my cars serviced by the Amato's for over 15 years. Not only have they done a superior job of caring for my vehicles but they have literally saved me thousands of dollars. I am always greeted with a smile and am made to feel welcome in their establishment. I have dealt with both Rob and Junior over the years and find their friendliness and professsionalism truly refreshing. If you are looking for fair prices and quality workmanship look no further. more

i recently hit a curb in my mercedes c300, i asked junior for an alignment & worried that a normal alignment would not correct the accident, junior showed me the alignment afterwards and said it was fixed, also showed me the tires were worn out on the inner edge and gave me a great price. junior also explained that they are a full service shop, ya i found a shop that is helpful more

I dont get it? The world is full of complainers. I've been going to amato for as long as they've been there and i have never had any issues what so ever. more

Last two oil changes have been a disaster. Oil was spilled on my engine with my minivan. Oil was spilled on the skid plate on my SUV. When I complained I was given a cup of absorbent for my driveway. Both vehicles had to be cleaned. Since the oil on the minivan was spilled over the top of the engine they had to steam clean it. I thought lightning shouldn't strike twice in the same so I took my Jeep back for an oil change. It was a clean job but they refused to honor my coupon because ""the invoice had already been written up."" Smiling faces and customer service seem to have gotten lost over the years. I hope they find it again. more

I use to go to this place for over 9 years. Recently, Rob Sr's son, Rob Jr really screwed me. I went to have my oil changed - which they have changed the oil in my wife's car since 2004 and they striped the oil pan plug. I had to pay for a new oil pan - $390.... Now it's leaking oil so I took and back and Rob Jr. told me my valve pan cover is leaking and it's going to be $400 to fix it. I put the car on a lift and there's no oil on block and the oil is coming directly from the oil pan gasket. I'll never come back to this shop again.... Cons: Will never use them again.... more

My family has purchased tires from Amato for 10 years. We have between 4 and 7 cars at any given time. I love that they are a local, family run business. If you want a chain of stores, this is probably not the place for you. I try to support local businesses as much as possible, especially in this economy. Pros: Family owned and run business Cons: only one location more

i've only had one experience here but it was a waste of $60. I went to get an alignment and after looking at the pre and post specs, the numbers were worse! do they know what they're doing? when confronted, jr. gave some horsecrap answer to cover for his incompetent grunts. what a joke. and why is scott bunte trying so hard to defend this place by attacking people with bad, legitimate experiences?
