Nicest most experienced doctor in san diego 6/17/2017

I've seen Dr.Dale Lapp for two pregnancies so far. I dont plan on changing providers any time soon. Hes calm, very experienced and is very knowledgeable. Hes old fashioned in his technology which is safer for our unborn and is kind and not pushy. He follows your wishes and desires fully and is a wonderful doctor, always with a smile always kind. more

In August of 2011 dr. Lapp saved my life! I had a ruptured tube that had been over looked by a reboots doctor. I almost bled to death. There are no words for how thankful I am to Dr. Lapp ! more

5 Stars for Dr.Lapp, well 9 stars actually 9/12/2011

First let me give you current ph/addy of Dr. Lapp (as of 9.12.2011) 619.297.4901./4045 3rd Ave, San Diego, Ca,92103. I met Dr. Lapp by chance. I had been to at least 6 OBGYNs and had given up on the prospect of finding one I was comfortable with. In 1983 during my first pregnancy I selected a nurse practitioner within my HMO knowing that towards the end I would be assigned a delivery doc. Enter Dr. Lapp. He made me feel so at ease. I could say so much but I'll spare you. My oldest is 28 and I refer my daughters to Dr. Lapp who, by the way delivered all 9 of my births! So you see I have had a lot of experience with this Doctor. I couldn't trust anyone more. I have only two regrets:1)Dr. Lapp is not a GP whom I can see for any medical issue. 2) Someday he will retire. Vast appreciation & Respect, Vivian Leslie more

Dr Lapp really takes the time to talk to you, answer questions. I NEVER feel rushed, even when he's busy. Also, his staff are also very nice, they call you back right away. more

I'd recommend Dr. Lapp to any woman 8/16/2010

Dr. Lapp has been my OB/GYN for 18 years. I couldn't imagine having to go to another doctor. I am now having my first baby and I'm very excited and grateful to have Dr. Lapp through it all. I'm comfortable with him and trust him completely. That is priceless. more

Dr Lapp has been my ob gyn for 22 years and delivered 9 of my kids and my grandson.. He is very good at what he does and he has treated me always with respect and care... hes simply the best more

Dr. Lapp is a great doctor. He has always explained everything very well and he is very experienced. My friend referred me to him 16 years ago and I have been happy all this time. He delivered my son almost 14 years ago. I will never forget the conversations we have had, and all his great stories. The office is very friendly. From Annette G. more

Dr. Lapp has been my doctor for 30 years. He has always been very caring. He takes time to go over everything with me and is extremely knowledgeable. I have two children and he was incredible during both the pregnancies. He has always been there for whatever my needs have been and gives you facts to help make the right decisions. He always makes time to see you if needed and Dr. Lapp has always called me back the same day I call. He is a very kind, warm person and I would highly recommend him. Alison more

I have seen Dr. Dale Lapp three times now. Dr. Lapp is very knowledgeable. In all the years that I have had my annual exams, which always seem to leave me both unconfortable and confused, this is the first time in my life that I understand the things that are going on with my body. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. I feel very confident in him and would recommend my doctor to, and have recommended my doctor, to anyone that is in search of a really good OBGYN. more

Dr.Lapp is a great doctor. I feel very comfortable with him and trust his advice fully. He really takes the time to explain things to me in a way no other previous doctor has. What a hard thing to find these days, a doctor that actually cares and doesn't just rush you out of the office! I will continue to visit him and recommend him to friends and family. The lab staff downstairs... now that's another story. I left without getting my bloodwork done because the lab staff was in such a hurry to get me in and out of there that there was no way I felt comfortable letting them stick needles in me. more

I have been going to Doctor Lapp since 1984. He has delivered 4 of my 5 children. (Baby 4 was delivered at Kaiser by a doctor who didn't even show up for the delivery and it was a NIGHTMARE) I made sure I had insurance that would let me go back to Dr Lapp for baby #5. It was good thing too because she ended up a cesarean. Dr. Lapp has also tied my tubes, and done a number of other surgical procedures for me over the years. He's the best.? more
