well i have pair jordan soem stain on it and he said he can get it out. so for whole week waited i keep calling and tell me it somebody else or he lies to me on the phonrhe pathetic fat liar be careful people dont go here i dont recommend he charge 50 dolllars of the shoe when came back look worst than ever im so piss of at his service people boyscott his company he a fraud stay away my shoes twice shitty then everrrr they away pray hope his buisnness shute down. he a fat fagget to i cuz stuid ass out he lied to me talk about it need to dried what a moron he decived people for money. more

I had brought in a pair of Christian Louboutins to be resoled and they put a dent on the outside of the platform of one of the shoes, it looks like a dent from a vice. They were rude and insisted that I had brought them in damaged. They did not offer a refund or even a discount. The resoling job was less than desirable as well. Here is what they charged me, $45 for the resole, $14 for heel caps and $8 to polish. Overpriced much? I will NEVER take a pair of shoes there ever again. more

I have been going to different shoe labs for the past 4 years and the one in Topanga was a convenient locations for me, I had recently dropped off several shoes there one of which a zipper needed to be replaced, well when I picked up the shoes the zipper had not been replaced which I had not realized until I went home. I went back and the manager of shoe lab in Topanga mall said he fixed them and that I had broke it and he refused to fix it, he said he would have to charge me again. CHARGE ME AGAIN FOR A JOB I PAID YOU FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE, come on! I tried to be reasonable and explain to him that this was not possible and that he had never fixed it in the first place but still had no luck. His manner in handling this situation is horrible I will never go there again. more

I am writing this review to warn others about The Shoe Lab in Topanga Canyon Mall. I recently had a pair of Prada loafers shined and restored there. They charged me $40, highway robbery, I know, but I was in a pinch. I have never paid more than $10 for a shine and I am from NYC where everything is supposed to be more expensive. When I got the shoes back they were badly stretched because the incompetent employees they have at Shoe Lab forced the shoe trees back into the opposite shoes. I could hardly remove the trees when I got them home. And I was very dissapointed when I tried them on and they were loose on my feet. These shoes should have lasted me ten to twenty years with the right care, but, now they are un-wearable. I called this store and spoke with the manager. I was polite when I called and explained that I felt my shoes are damaged and that Shoe Lab should refund the $40. He would not refund my money or deal with me in any way and he totally and rudely denied any responsibility for ruining my $500 loafers. Beware of Shoe Lab!!!!
