Legal Helpers New York Bankruptcy Lawyers

It's a shame that I even had to give Legal Helpers one star..it should be negative. A process that should have taken 4 months took 10 ! They literally forgot about my case, first of all, really ! You would think a group of professionals could keep up with a fie full of paper work..you'd be wrong ! The entire experience was a nightmare, I ha to constantly call them, and push everything through. Never got a returned call, I basically filed my own bankruptcy, and learned more from internet research, than I did from my Legal Helpers ! And for all of this great service...$1,500 !! Please heed my warning, DO NOT HIRE LEGAL HELPERS for your bankruptcy..lawyer didn't even show up to my 341 meeting..after I called, and he said he'd meet me there ! I was on my own for this one, and from what I've read, I'm not the only one, RESEARCH several law firms first, bankruptcy is a complicated, draining process, and your lawyer should be helping you, not ignoring you. more

I retained Macey and Aleman (Legal Helpers) for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy and they were a total nightmare to work with. If it was possible, I would be giving them negative stars.
