I read the reviews here about Dr. Zamora while looking for a physician close to my new house. He sounded perfect so I called to book an appt. Before I could get my name and the purpose of my call finished, the clerk said ""Let me cut you off there, what kind of insurance do you have"". When my Blue Cross passed muster, she told me I had to come in for sort of a pre-appointment with the doctor, no tests or procedures would be done that day, I would be ""verified"" as a patient. I agreed to the next day and when I arrived I was immediately asked for my id and insurance card and was given several pages to fill out. All of it was HIPPA releated except for the first page that was name address, next of kin, and you guessed it, verify all your insurance information...again. No medical history, medications, nothing, just insurance. After a good 20 minute wait, the young clerk called me up and told me my insurance was no good. I protested and even brought up my blue cross account on my phone, all to no avail. She could not get it through the automated system and didn't want to call and I would have to pay in full if I was to be allowed ""back"". I left, will never go back and am warning anyone that reads this. Dr. Zamora may be a good doctor and nice guy, but this is utter BS. No one should be treated this way! more

We have been patients of Dr. Zamora's since moving to Texas in 2007. Love, love, love him. He is professional yet easy to talk to and definately takes the time to get to know you as a patient. I would definately recommend him to anyone looking for a good general practitioner. more

I have recommended Dr. Zamora to many of my coworkers and friends. He is very knowledgeable about a wide variety of issues and has made me feel very at home and welcome. Just can't beat the location, as i live and work within 5 min of the office!!! For anyone in the surrounding League City/ South Shore area this physician is a great choice. more

Dr. Zamora is aweful. Do not go here. Staff is rude, wait is long, advice is bad, all around just out for money. My family went here and on several occasions we received prescriptions that were not given warnings on that had horrible side effects. His attitude is very bad and he is in a hurry to get you in, give you whatever the drug reps sell him on and get your money and out the door. BAD BAD BAD. more

In a previous review, I had written that this particular office was unsatisfactory. I have since then given them another chance. They have redeemed themselves two fold. The staff has become much more courteous, and they seem to have a genuine compassion. Dr. Zamora has taken the time and the effort to figure out my medical ailments. more

I was very impressed with Dr. Zamora. He took his time and is very knowledgeable. However I have been seen by is PA as well. You can tell she is new and frankly wasn't impressed with her knowledge. She DX me with tonsilitis, and I don't have my tonsils anymore. Some of his staff isn't the friendliest either, and I find that surprising considering Dr. Zamora's sense of humor. If it wasn't for Dr. Zamora I wouldn't recommend this clinic. But if you're looking for a great Dr. and great location. I would check out this clinic, as long as you can get past some of the staff. Dr. Zamora was very informative and had a great sense of humor. However, I think he needs to consider hiring some new people. Tammy, I believe she is in billing, is extremely rude, and likes to argue with you. Also, the little blond girl was texting on the phone when I was waiting to let her know that I was here for my appointment. Would still recommend this clinic despite some of his staff. Dr. Zamora is the first doctor that we have seen in a long time that treats you like a person. He takes you seriously and listens. Dr. Zamora didn't just send me on my way but took time to find the true problem. He has a great sense of humor, is extremely knowledgable, has compassion, and refers when needed. Saw Dr. Zamora for the first time a few days ago. It has been a long time since I have come across a Dr. who actually cares about his patients well being. He sat down with me, answered all of my questions, offered various solutions....all without me feeling rushed. His entire office staff, especially Nicole, made me feel very much at home.
