First let me say, I make my living by selling online, and ship items daily. I have lived in many states across the nation, and have shipped from dozens of different P.O. locations. I have never come across a P.O. like this before! The employees, are the most unsocial I have met. The lines are out the door on a regular basis due to only having 1, maybe 2 if your lucky, clerks working the counter. Mail boxes outside are overflowing almost every Monday, so that somebody can grab a handful of mail and take off. Not just in the morning, but until 5pm, when they empty them. I have had 3 letters not arrive to their destination, in the past 2 months! I have not had that many in 10 years! The carriers are another storey! Boxes to big to fit IN the mailbox, have been left on the open box door, in the rain! Well that equaled all mail in box being soaked! Have a little common sence! Pick-ups at home have resulted in not all packages being taken. Its like they pick and choose what they want to take. Empty mail tubs just thrown in the yard, not put back at the door where they got them. What, can't walk an extra 10 feet? Over all, it seems most of Rockports Postal employees are lazy, unmotivated individuals. Such a great town, but go to Fulton to do your mailing. I now do!
Pros: It is close.
Cons: EVERYTHING else.
