Around the Bend ranges from a quiet night with friends and a friendly barkeep to rollicking fun on a friday with patrons from all age groups. A great place to hang out after work or even if you drop in later until closing. The drinks are cheap and the jukebox has a wide range of rock, country and plain good tunes on it. We keep going back because it has a family feel to it. People just take to you there; so be careful you might want to go back several nights a week! Pool table and darts, poker two nights a week, cheap drinks and friendly people;what more could you ask for? Pros: friendly people, cheap drinks, good music Cons: smoky atmosphere more

A great local pub 12/28/2005

I have totally enjoyed my two visits to this establishment and would consider it my ""local"" if I lived closer. The bar staff and customers are friendly. Great music on the Jukebox. Good set up for darts players. Overall I am really into the place. The one detractor for me is the smoke. Could use an upgrad on the ventilation system maybe?. I have mild asthma but I pay for each visit with a heavy cough for the next two days. ....it's worth it for the fun but why not ask folks to step outside for a smoke? I know it's an issue that touches nerves so I'll quit here..... It's a great place and I think it's quite unique. Well worth a visit. Pros: Good parking, Friendly people, Great Service Cons: Too Smokey more

Around the Bend is a great place to just kick back and relax. It is a very friendly enviroment and its a good place to hang out! Pros: Inexpensive, Not Crowded, Friendly more
