This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in San Antonio. They offer many different types of sushi, including some that are special only at Kabuki. The atmosphere is awesome - you can sit in a secluded seating areas with pillows rather than chairs or at the sushi bar. (sitting at the sushi bar is my favorite, and good if you are new to sushi)
The service is pleasant and the chef at the sushi bar will customize your sushi however you want.
Just watch your head as you enter the seating area - the doorway is pretty low!
The best time to eat here is during the happy hour. During happy hour, the sushi is very inexpensive and is a great value. Call to make sure they are having the happy hour before you go!
Pros: plenty of parking, great service, big variety of foods
