the staff is very nice, I didn't get rude from them at all. She checked my joints, but doesn't manage my disease over all. Even my hospital docs told me to get a new rheumy. She will NOT see you at the hospital unless you are dying. If she sees you, you are on your way out. she does not listen to her patients. Each time she sees you its like seeing her for the first time she's disorganized, she has little empathy, does not prescrible pain medicine that works if you are in extreme pain and when my dad took me last time she was totally dismissive of any of his questions. She does not allow kids in her office and I saw some womant being asked to leave while going for her appt because her kid was with her and she had no one to watch him. I don't have kids but kn ow i wouldn't have the money for a co pay and babysitter if i had to go there as much as i go there. Oh and she forgets to follow through on most things and you never get your test results more

She doesn't check your joints, which I have never seen from any other rheumatologist before. She orders tests and has on numerous occasions forgotten to give me the results...which ended up being a huge set back in my disease. And she doesn't listen long enough to get the full picture of all of the symptoms. She says she will give you prescriptions and often forgets that too. If you have a mild case and are good at remembering and reminding ton make up for her lack then she might be ok for you. I have take my mother to 9 Rheumatologist all throughout the country in the past 4 years and Dr. Suarez was the first doctor to appropriately diagnosis and treat my mother. Thanks to Dr. Suarez my mother has been able to go weeks at a time pain free, instead of living with constant pain. She can finely laugh and enjoy life again. The staff was extremely rude on the phone when calling to schedule my appt. The office staff and dr were both rude and vile during my appt. They were dismissive and very dismissive. The appt was so horrid, I called my dr during the appt and had her talk to Dr. Suarez and Dr. Suarez was rude and dismissive to her also. Easy to get appointments when needed and she has Saturday clinic once a month. This is very helpful because work is not missed. The staff is very friendly and professional. Dr. Lisa Suarez is very patient-oriented and takes time to review treatment options and listen to how well current treatments are working.
