Cedars Apartments

I really love living here at the Cedars. the people are nice and I am so close to everything. Ive been here a little over a year and havent had much noise to complain about. Also they clean your carpets annually, which is really nice. Though they do have a little joke about stealing your gnomes... so beware. more

The place has bad insulation, dust is everywheres. It takes you 2 hours to dry clothes because the vent system is too small for the dryers. Light bills are high. The doors and windows are not insulated. Management talks rude to you sometimes. They put people with small children on the second floor above you knowing you and your neighbors don't have children. The children parents lets them run, and jump off furnisher all day, or the neighbors playing their music too loud. If you say something too the management about this all they say is (THAT IS APARTMENT LIVING, DEAL WITH IT OR CALL THE POLICE DO NOT BOTHER US!) During the summer time fruit flies stay in your apartment, know matter how clean you keep it. The appliance never work right, You constantly have water leaks from the second floor. The apartments are old and inefficient. The insulation in the walls is nonexistent, the windows and doors are not properly sealed and all of the floors creak loudly in the upstairs apartments making it difficult for anyone on the first floor to get and peace and quiet. Your electric bill will run well over $200 in the summertime. Appliances constantly need repair because they're never fixed correctly. They do the initial walk through for you before you move in so you can't write down all of the faults in the apartment but they don't tell you that until they've already finished so they can keep your deposit. The staff is not the least bit helpful and sometimes even a little rude. Pros: Good location. That's it. Cons: Everything else. more
