My son has been attending Kids R Kids since he was 6 weeks of age and I could not be happier with the care he has recieved nor the care the facility gives the whole family. When I drop off in the mornings to his classroom the teachers are ready to recieve him and have all materials needed for his arrival ready to go. All the teachers are very knowlegeable with any questions I have as far as classroom schedule and routines to ideas about quality products to use for my son. example: types of shoes for starter walkers, juice cups for transitions from bottle to cup, etc. They were specialy helpful with me being a first time mom. Tranisitons from classroom to classroom are very smooth and the system Kids R Kids has in place seems to work and is very effective. My son has never had problems transitioning from classroom to classroom. I am always notified when my child is low on supplies he may need such as extra clothes, bug spray, etc. more

Anyone that thinks this establishment is quality day care has very low standards. Having a desk clerk greet you by your name is a marketing ploy and has nothing to do with daycare. more

If you look carefully at the dates of these reviews, they are very telling. After my absolutely horrifying experience in February of 2011, all of a sudden, KRK #11 has TWO 5-star ratings in a row. Sounds like KRK needed a boost after the scathing (and detailed) letter I wrote to corporate, and copied them on it. more

I have really enjoyed having my two children at this school. They are always smiling when they greet us at the front door and the classroom teachers are easy to talk to. I have found that they are very flexible, understanding, and more than willing to help us. Anytime I call the school to ask a question, they are exceptionally helpful and will go out of their way. The cirriculum for the children is top notch, and I feel that my children learn a lot. My older son was at a different school earlier this year and they taught at a much lower level, and the teachers at this school have helped so much in trying to catch him up. I was leery of this school because it is a large chain, but I think that what makes it a great school is that they have such a fantastic system in regards to transitioning children to the new classroom, how very clean everything is (baby rooms are constantly cleaned, linens washed daily, toys cleaned 2x day etc), the great cirriculum, and just the overall ease with which everything seems to flow. I also love that I can log on and see the kids via the internet with the classroom cameras. I am really pleased and have enjoyed our time at this school! more

Thank you kids r kids#11. My granddaughters loves this school and her teachers. We as grandparents are happy and feel safe, that she loves where she is going after school. They show her so much love and she has outstanding teachers. I feel so welcomed everytime my husband and i pick her up .The front staff know us by name and always gives us a warm welcome. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I recommend this place to all my family and friends. more

My grandchidren attend Kids R Kids in New Territory and just love it. My daughter could not have chosen a more loving, nurturing and sincere place. I particularly love the events the school offers for me as a grandparent. We recently attended their ""Wee Heart's Dance"" and my cheeks were so sore from smiling by the end of the night just watching all the children dance and have a great time. Another event close to my heart was ""grandparent's day"". I was invited to share a snack with my grandchildren. These are memories that won't easily be forgotten. I would go somewhere else if you have a choice. The tour is a sales and marketing technique which this location excels. The day to day operations are much different. The staff is unprofessional in dealing with the parents and each other. You are told one thing and another is done. If you ask about it, well this is the first they heard of it or it was a misunderstanding. If you can actually get them to admit they made a mistake, they will turn it around and make it your fault. This is called deflection. One of many techniques employed by the location to justify they do what is best and easiest for the business not your child. The food is processed junk with very little to no nutritional value. Don?t forget this is a for profit business. The fund raisers and parents bringing in items for parties directly contributes to the owner?s bottom line not the welfare and happiness of your child. If you bring up an issue, they will make you feel like you are the only one that has this issue. This is called divide and conquer. Talk to the other parents, they have the same issues you have with the business. If you try to stand up for your child, you will be kicked out without notice. more

I have been shopping around for childcare for a few months. I am a first time mom and of course want the best of the best. When I toured KRK, I was welcomed with open arms. The management and teachers eased my ""first time mommy"" worries. Most of the facilites I visited were semi-clean. But here I saw them sanitizing and the place smelled clean. It is a real comfort to know I can view my child online and call as often as I want/need. more

The tour was so promising but none of it was true. The food is terrible that they feed the children. Crackers twice a day is not a healthy snack. Neither is Fruit Loops for breakfast. The teachers and management do what is easiest for them not what is best for the children. Don?t complain because it will be your fault. They don?t take any responsibility for what they do. The children are threaten and punished into doing what the teachers want. Also, if you are not a Christian, you will be made to feel inferior. I have a terrible experience. They don't watch the kids. The manager only cared about making money. She has no skills with children. The teachers yell at the kids and put them in time out. I was told on the tour that they did not do that. The manager lied! They are always asking for money. Stay away from this place. Cons: terrible teachers and management more

This is a terrible place. The manager is very passive aggressive. She is not concerned with what the parents want or need only what she wants. She will blame the parents for anything that happens. If you complain, your child all of sudden becomes a huge problem. If you complain more, the owner will kick you out. The assistant manager is very nice but she has no power and will not do anything. The teachers don't teach they blame. They don't stop the children from beating or biting, they say let them work it out. They don't call you if your child is injured. They tell you doing the tour all about their policies but they don't tell you that they don't follow them. Pros: Better than the comptetion Cons: Everything else more

The daycare was recommended as a pre-school by the County. I thought it was terrible. The teachers just screamed at the kids. The negative environment drained the life out of me while I was there. The manager blamed me! She recited all the years of experience they had. Experience at what, terrorizing children? I called the County back and told them my experience. The reason why the parking lot is so packed is because the other facilities in the area are worse. If you try to talk to management about an issue, they just turn it around and make it your fault. If you complain too much, they tell you not to come back. The teachers will cover for each other. Don?t let them intimidate you. If you know something is not being handled appropriately, call CPS. CPS will at least bring attention to the issue and it will be anonymous for you. There are a handful of wonderful teachers there if you are lucky enough to get one of them before your child is hurt. I notice the good rating review was dated back to 2006. So I guess things has changed now. The students to teacher ratio is not good considering 24 to 2. Staff is impatient and less experience.
