Roman Forest Police Dept

On Jan 12, 2013 I was riding with my son and daughter in law and was pulled over by Roman Forest. Officer saying she didn't stop behind the stop sign. Which is a bold face Lie on the officers part. Proceeded to search the vehicle. It was after repeated asking for what the stop was for before he said the reason why. He then said for asking so many questions, we were not co operating. He had 2 other officers pull up. Very rude. Sarcastic and belittling. No one in the vehicle has much less a traffic violation on their record. I am now looking for as many people that has been done the same way to bring a class action suite against the department. I want their license to carry a hand gun pulled and dissolve the department if the Chief and the mayor wont do anything. I am tired of hearing everyone being harrassed. If the charges are real. They would have my backing. I am believer of law enforcement. They are their to protect and serve the public. The Roman Forest police are very unprofessional ,rude and will stop you for anything no matter how STUPID the reason and will create a way to give you a ticket.Their ticket prices are so inflated.They need to get a real COP job and admit that Roman Forest IS NOT a city but just a subdivision....... more

Well I had a court date in Harris County for child support and a man in plain clothing came up and grabbed my bag and said are you fannon stephens your under arrest. I said for what and they told be burglary of a habitat. I said what. They took me into police department and then took me and booked me with only my purse not my court documents that I needed because I am in a major battle with my husband. The police officer brought my evidence against My ex to the house and showed them everything. Well Bills sister knows the detective and that is how they ended up arresting me for nothing. Now they are filing harrasment charges on me just for calling for my son. I did call alot but I cant believe someone hasnt stepped in and stopped this. I have so many police reports for domestic violence but I never wanted him to go to jail. He is trying to take everything and he has Roman forest getting involved to help him. Why would they arrest me right before court without evidence and no warrent. The case is dismissed I never received my things and now they are filing harrasment charges I guess for the next court date where they can arrest me. Well I have the DA on my side now and they are fixing to do an investigation over the whole police department. They will set you up if they know someone or friends with someone in that little town. They are currupt I have never been treated this way in my life more

Roman Forest Police Department pull people over for just being in their subdivision. They wont deny it. If they dont know your car, they pull you over and give tickets for anything including if your horse poops on the street. They harass the residents and their guest. Most people dont want to even come in the neighborhood. It is a safe place, but at what cost? more

Roman Forest is a subdivision that has incorporated into a city and has its own police Dept. \r The Roman Forest Police harass residents of Roman Forest as well as visitors and for this reason I have to suggest to anyone that if they can they need to avoid comming into Roman Forest for any reason and deffinately dont considering buying in here . more
