I am so lucky that this awesome facility is less than 2 miles from home. The people are so welcoming, and definitely pay attention to detail. \r My pet, Annie, has practically grown up there and she loves to see her friends when she stays. I have been using Fondren 5 star exclusively for the past 8 years. She passed obedience training, gets regular grooming, and loves the special attention she gets at the ""doggie hotel"".\r I would recommend this kennel - they go above and beyond to make sure I am satisfied and comfortable to leave my beloved fur kid.\r Also, I have had to call for a couple emergencies, and they have been so kind and accommodating. Such a treat to have such wonderful neighbours. more

Best Boarding and Grooming Service in Houston! 9/19/2011

I have been taking my dogs to Fondren 5 Star Kennels since they opened more than 10 years ago! They are terrific! I have recommended them to a number of family members and friends, and each time I get a glowing report and thanks from my friends. They know every dog that comes in by name and are so incredibly loving and caring. My Bichon Frise loves the spa treatment when he gets a bath and haircut! My Maltese loves the doggy day care - he comes home happy and tired - so I know he has had a good time. Even though I live near the Galleria, I will not take my boys anywhere else for boarding or grooming! When I am on vacation, I know they are having fun and are well taken care of - this means I can enjoy my trip worry free! more

Best Doggie Hotel in Texas 10/5/2008

This is the only Kennel I trust with my 2 standard poodles. The place is always clean and the employees are always friendly and smiling. The love animals and it shows. Your baby will love staying there and you can have a worry free trip. The rooms are like little hotel rooms with beds and t.v.s and doggy doors so you pet can go outside to it on private area. They offer all kinds of activities. You and your pet will love this place:) Pros: This Kennel is a safe, happy, and loving place for your baby. Cons: Nothing more

Great Customer Service. Knew our dog personally 11/28/2007

We used Fondren 5 Star Kennel for the first time while we were gone for a 3 day weekend and we were very pleased with the service. Everyone knew who Daisy was and we appreciated that and felt they took good care of her. They listened to our preferences and acted accordingly. We will definitely use them the next time we have to leave Daisy. We are now using their grooming services also Pros: Knew our dog personally Cons: Charged for Sunday night when the dogs are picked up on Sunday afternoon more
