Kwik Kar Lube & Tune

I want everyone in the Waxahachie area to know what a rip off this business is. I took my car in because it was running badly for an oil change and tune up & was told my car was leaking gas. They told me it would be 75 dollars per hour to find out what was wrong with my car. At this point the business closed in one hour so I said to go ahead for one hour. They told me I needed a new fuel pump and it would cost $579.00 plus $75.00 per hour. I then told them not to do anything futher to my car because I could not pay that and would call to get a cheaper price somewhere else. The employee told me it was not safe to drive my car and I needed to keep it there but he would not charge me for storage. I said okay and later that night found out there was a recall on the fuel pump for my model car. I called and told Kwik Kar there was a recall and not to do anything else to my car. I had my car towed from the business and they sent me a bill for $204.00. I asked why they were charging me that mu more

my son went to kwik kar for a state inspection and when he left and got out on the highway he was going about 70 and his hood slams into his windshield, he is lucky he wasnt killed.. i just called gary the owner of kwik kar (972-898-1140) and he refused to take any responsibility for the incident. kwik kar was the only place my son had been and they did not properly latch his hood and now he is out $500 to repair his car over what was supposed to be a simple inspection. will file with the courts and he will pay for what this company has done. more

Absolutely horrible service!! I was going to get my allignment done and half way through the guy comes in and say oh by the way this part is broke so this allignment will not stay, and they still made me pay! Called the owner and there was no budge he simply saids well you paid for the labor and I was not going to get refunded! THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO A VISUAL INSPECTION FIRST! I will NEVER go back to this place and will be calling the BBB! Oh and when I asked to speak to the manager the guy says oh we dont have one we just all kind of know what to do.. Wouldnt send my worst hated person to this place! more

This place simply does not care about the customer at all. They advertise one thing, and give you the total opposite. They will charge you for something they do not perform, and then when you try to dispute that with the owner, the owner will not bend or work with the customer in any way. The employees did not know how to fix the problem in my vehicles, and the board in the office states clearly that it was a service they performed and charged a lot of money for. They did not perform the service, but still charged us the amount and refused to refund it. Watch out for this place. PROS: None CONS: The customer is always wrong more

Gary's Kwik Car is run by an absolutely rude man, and is staffed by relatively unknowledgeable people. The oil changes take longer than driving to the dealership would, and you have to be careful about the things you are charged for. Though the staff was pleasant enough, they seemed unsure of what should be billed, and when speaking to the owner, I was told that he had my money and that was that. All in all, I'd rather pay double at the dealership. PROS: CONS: Rude owner more
