My family has used them for generations 1/25/2011

My family has used Lexington Florist for generations. The flowers for my brother's, my sister's and my wedding were all done by them & we didn't have a single problem. We have also used them more times than I can count for flowers for funerals of family members, most recently my grandfather's & grandmother's & they did an excellent job on all of the arrangements we ordered. My church also uses them on a regular basis when there are deaths in our church family. Take it from someone who's family has personally used them for decades- they get it right way more often than they mess it up. more

you should be ashamied to leave a bad review to this company this company is great they where there when my grand farther passed away they made everyn thing beautifuy when i couldn't do it myself get over it they are # 1 in my book more

Great Florist With Great Standards 12/7/2010

I have nothing but great praises for Lexington Florist. The service that I have received for many years from them has been wonderful. I have gone to Lexington florist for years, and I have never had a bad experience. Just look at the facts this florist has been around for many years doing the right thing for its customers. Like I said I have never had a bad experience, and I will continue to order my flowers from Lexington Florist. more

PLEASE don't use Lexington Florist 1/15/2009

I had heard some pretty scary reviews, so decided to go with another florist for my wedding. Lucky for me, I had a friend who used them this past weekend and this is just a quick glimpse of what happened: She scheduled them months ago, but they called the Tuesday before her wedding to say they wouldn't be able to get her flowers. When my other friend stormed in there to take care of it for her, she picked out alternate flowers that still matched the color scheme, but when the flowers were picked up the day before the wedding, the corsages and boutonnieres were shriveled up, and the flowers were wrong. So my friend stormed in again, and demanded they fix them for the wedding. They told her that because it was close to New Years, things were crazy and they had "warned" her that this might happen. First of all, they never warned her about it, and if it was too much for them to handle a few flowers, they should have told her they couldn't do it. It was an absolute nightmare. My friend more

Don't waste your time at Lexington Florists 2/14/2008

I've always had a regular florist I go to for occasions, but I stopped in at Lexington Florists to see what they had to offer. \r I stood there for over 5 minutes while the ladies moved around the shop, totally oblivious to me standing there, waiting for someone to come and service me. There was no one else in the store and at 6' 1", I'm hard to miss.\r I even spoke out and said, "somebody needs to help me here" and then, "somebody needs to help me here or I'll take my business else where". Yet the ladies just continued on without even acknowledging my presence. \r On the way out the door, I turned back and said "thanks ladies, I'll be taking my business elsewhere", again, not even an acknowledgement that I was even in the building. \r I went down the road a little over a 1/4 mile to Storey's, where I usually buy my flowers and such, and was waited on as soon as I got in the door, as usual. :)\r If you've got a little purchase to make, DO NOT go to Lexington Florist or you too may be st more

They have no clue... 6/11/2007

I would not recommend Lexington Florist for any wedding event. I used them and they forgot my "in memory of" flower, they got the color of the boutennieres wrong and they sent over corsages for some of my bridal party when I specifially asked for bouquets. They also forgot that I ordered a cake topper and flower petals. Not sure how they forgot as I made them a complete list of what I wanted. The ladies in the office are very nice but seem to have no clue. They also ended up overcharging me bc they didnt log a check we sent in. If you use, be sure to ask for an itemized statement as we never got one and should have because even after numerous conversations, they still didnt get it right. more

Great Wedding Flowers! 11/20/2005

When I was planning my wedding, I was able to peek in on a wedding setup a few hours before it began at my church. I loved how beautiful it looked and found out that Lexington Florist had done the job. They were the first place I interviewed. I interviewed several florists, and stuck with Lexington Florist. No other shop could even come close to what Lexington Florist offered me. I got flowers for 8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen, plus myself and husband, parents, and grandparents. I also needed decorations for the church, front alter, and reception. I got everything for under $1000, and was super pleased. The only time I teared up on my wedding day was when they presented me with my bouquet...it was so beautiful that I teared up!! more

Awesome service and value 7/28/2005

Every time I have ordered from Lexington Florist, they have gone above and beyond my expectations. The employees are extremely nice and helpful, and in my opinion you get more for your money than any other florist I have done business with. They are the best florist I have ever done business with. more
